With the help of Ansys Workbench and Fluent, I along with team members: Alex Rogowski, Artur Rogowski and Trevor Miller replicated a Panasonic batteries discharge performance. Data was then compared from Fluent to that provided by Panasonic at various C rates, temperatures and voltage. The project started with a 3D model of the battery which composed of a cathode, anode and a main body that matched the dimensions of a NCA NCR-1860B battery.
